It's almost here! Have a taste :)

To all who are waiting patiently for Jar of Pandora...

I have been working hard on the second book . These past few weeks the novel has challenged me in ways  Men of the Cave never did. There has been three to four different versions of the ending that my poor husband has had to read and re-read. I feel confident with the current ending and I'm excited to get this novel into the readers hands. It's unique, action packed, and full of surprises.

Here's a sneak peek. A little teaser: Dion's POV

Artemis’ eyes narrowed and she half smiled resembling a mischievous fox. “They will kill her, then nothing can stop us.”

Shock, dread, and every bad feeling that I could muster did within me. Tired of playing games with this has-been goddess, I swung aggressively then kicked my foot behind hers. I knocked Artemis onto her back. With the tip of my foot I threw her blade into the water. I straddled the woman, my knees holding down her arms. My sword’s tip positioned above her heart. My hand around her neck gripping tightly. She coughed.

“Kill who? Who are you after?” I pressed her head into the dock.

She resisted me, choked and smiled. She whispered, “Pandora’s granddaughter of course.”

With petrified shock, I squeezed her neck tighter. “Who is after her and why?” I yelled inches from her wretched face.

She began a maniacal giggle, then maneuvered her left arm free, and before I could gain control of it again she gripped the handle of my sword and pulled it into her heart.

5 of 5 stars false
bookshelves: favortie-s, up-for-review
Read from August 07 to 15, 2012

I want to thank Marisette for letting me review her book, I’m officially addicted and I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2! I loved how she combined Greek mythology with religion it really made for an interesting story that will have you laughing at times too.

Kasey and Dian I loved them what can I say, their romance was a perfect balance in the book I can’t wait till they go and meet her parent’s heh you will get it when you read the book! The book is done in two points of views Dion’s and Kasey’s, which worked out prefect because you get to understand where both characters are coming from. I’m excited to read what happens next for Kasey and Dion along with his brothers. This will defiantly a book I’ll reread.

Kasey flees to Spain on a scholarship, she thought learning Spanish was going to be difficult just wait till she finds out what destiny has in store for her.

She meets Dion and his brothers at her host family’s restaurant, from there they start off as friends but they feel this pull to be with one another their relationship starts to develop from there. But everything come to a halt when she find out just what Dion and his brothers are, As Kasey struggles to believe in the things she been told little does she know things are about to take a turn and not a good one either.

With Dion’s other two brothers after them they must protect the one thing they have all grown to care about Kasey.

Update!!

Men of the Cave is doing great another 5 star from a Goodreads winner! Irene Watson's reviewer on Reader Views had this to say about the book:

" A world of Greek mythology, Christian beliefs, and attractive immortals.
I loved the Spanish culture and language thrown into the book as Kasey adjusted to her new surroundings. The juxtaposition of Greek mythology and Christian myths was also excellently and intriguingly done. All these different layers of culture and context provided a rich background for the story.
Overall I enjoyed “Men of the Cave” and will probably keep my eye out for the sequel, and its semi-groundbreaking back-story made up for its overdone romance. I would recommend “Men of the Cave” to fans of “Twilight” or other supernatural romances, to fans of Greek mythology, and fans of Christian fiction." Reviewed by Madeleine Sullivan for Reader Views

My Editor is done with Jar of Pandora and said "Did I tell you how much I love this story! Maybe more than the first!" We meet soon and I go back to rewrites on it. It is still looking like late Fall for it's release.

Thank you everyone for the support.
*I will be doing a Skype interview for the Goodreads group Teen Romance at the end of August. Hope you check it out!
Happy Reading,
Marisette
